This past summer, I began research in the computational neuroimaging and neuroengineering lab as an undergraduate research assistant. Twice a week I went to the health science center for data collection. However, for the rest of the time I processed data in two partners place on south campus. The architectural style is consistent with most buildings on south campus. The building has a modern feel with smooth curves that lead to sharp crisp edges. When I first encountered the building I immediately got the feeling that I was participating in research that was on the cutting edge, just from the design of the building. The inside maintains a classy, crisp feel. Due to the psychological nature of a lot of the research in our lab, the interior is set to be clean and calming, with many paintings of flowers and warm colors. While I appreciate the gothic architecture on main campus, I tend to prefer the modern architecture of south campus.
