The Philbrook is another Tulsa staple and has the grand awe and intrigue of a house you would see in “The Great Gatsby”. The gardens are what draw a lot of people to the grounds, but the house itself is a year round beauty. What was once the home to the Phillips family (of Conoco Phillips), is now a museum for art. It has been converted to look like a museum but much of it is original. The house is huge and has beautiful stained glass windows, pretty ceilings, and many beautiful staircases. It was inspired as an Italian Renaissance villa with some other greek stylings as well such as columns.
