The GJS also known as The House of Garden was a design that submitted into a competition by Mari Ito and her team at the Urban Architecture Office (UAo). Mari and her team won this competition and was built in 2008. The building is an information center in Gunma, Japan. The building is the middle of a busy city and has very large windows which allows for a lot of natural light. Like many of Mari other projects it has a very clean and elegant look.
