The first building, which I encounter as one of the most admirable and inspiring is called The Dome of the Rock and it is situated in Jerusalem. The primary purpose I have chosen it is that I do enjoy the historical background of it. This building is the oldest survived Islamic architectural monument. The expected date of this creation is the seventh century. It means that all the other Islamic architecture was following the style of this building. When I saw this building, it was just breathtaking. I realized that would be a blessing to live in Jerusalem just because of the opportunity of visiting this magnificent building. This building provides a very unusual feeling of touching to the Islamic history and culture.
