The first time I encountered the Capitol of Texas I was in 8^th grade with a couple of my good buddies. Walking up the front doors on the walkway with trees on both sides of you made you look directly at the center on the building where the dome part is. I was pretty excited to see what it looked like on the inside because I knew the history behind it. Walking through the doors into the big entrance and then walking to the dome you could feel the history within it. The coolest part of the whole experience was standing on the star in the middle of the dome. When you talk you can hear your echo. It was a cool feeling to experience.
