Sports Authority field at Mile High is home to the 2016 world champion Denver Broncos.  This stadium was opened in 2001 under the name Invesco Field at Mile High before Sports Authority bought the rights to the name in 2011.  Invesco field was built to replace the old Mile High Stadium that had been home to the Bronco’s for nearly thirty years before needing the update.

The stadium holds a capacity of 76,125 for football games and 50,000 for concerts. It was designed by the architect groups of HNTB, Fentress Architects, and Bertram A. Burton and Associates.  This stadium is impactful to me, because my family have been Bronco fans ever since we can remember.

  1. This stadium is incredible. I like how the one end is open with the screen. The curved features make the stadium look enormous. The stadium for the Los Angeles Rams isn’t too far from my house, I am intrigued how the design will look.
