National Gallery London Expansion

In 1991 Venturi Scott Brown produced an enormous expansion onto the National Gallery in London that totaled 120,000 square feet. This expansion is a beautiful postmodern architectural feat that embodies the class of this exquisite Gallery. An addition some called the most sophisticated piece of postmodern architecture in this idiom. A seamless incorporation of glass steal and stone creates a perfect postmodern creation of old, new, and classic.
