This is the Flat Iron hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It was built in the 1880’s. My wife and I went to Eureka Springs once for a fall vacation and my favorite part was the old buildings and houses. This building was especially my favorite because it was at the turning point in essence of the downtown area. It was part of the upper area and lower area and just felt like it was a part of two worlds at the same time. Today it is just a big tourist area but I do wonder what it felt like and what the surrounding area was like when it was originally built.
