Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a historic music venue. It was built in 1924. The inside consists of a very open space for dancing or watching a concert.  In its early years, Cain’s was a dance academy. After it changed ownership a few times, it has become a popular music venue.

I went to a concert there a couple of years ago. “Judah and the Lion” opened for Ben Rector. It was my first time to hear either of these two performances, and it was my first time in Cain’s Ballroom. We were packed in this small place like sardines, but it was worth it. The concert was awesome, and everything was magnified by the venue. The sound was amazing inside of Cain’s Ballroom. It was loud; the way good music at a good place is supposed to be.
