The Burj Khalifa is one the world’s most interesting building in my opinion because it dared to break the records in how tall a building can be built. It’s main structure is 2,717 feet tall with a 5 foot tall antenna that gives it the final height of 2,722 feet. The tower has 163 floors and it told that you could watch the sunset on ground level then travel to the top of the tower and watch the sunset all over again. The total cost to build the tower equates to $1.5billion, and it is THE tallest structure in the world. The Burj Khalifa also holds 6 other world records:
- tallest freestanding structure in the world
- highest number of stories in the world
- highest occupied floor in the world
- highest outdoor observation deck in the world
- elevator with longest travel distance in the world
- and tallest service elevator in the world
