The Bank of America Plaza is among the most iconic buildings in the United States. Located in Dallas, Texas, the “green building” can be seen in almost every picture of the city skyline. This structure was completed in 1985 and stands 921 ft tall. Before last year, I had never been inside of it, despite living my entire life 20 minutes from the city. I had always seen the building when we drove through city. I especially enjoyed seeing the building at night, because of its green lights that highlight every corner of the unique design. I also enjoyed how the building stood above most of the other buildings. However, I chose this building because even though I had never been inside it nor I have seen it from up close, it still makes me happy when I see it. This building has made me realize the impact that architects can make on people.
