Post 3-Tian An Men

Unknown

Tian An Men is very famous in the world now. It is the gate of the Imperial Palace, and it represents the ancient Chinese feudal rights. Its main color is red, and it was built in 1417. Although China entered the era of democracy, it is still kept. It is because that it is the witness of history.

But now, its main function is the main grandstand of the military parade. The first time I saw this building is when I was 5 years old. Moreover, it also represent the ‘Beijing Dream’ for some people who is not Beijing citizens.

Post 2-The Chinese National Centre for the Performing Arts

The Chinese national centre was built in 2007, which is the year right before the Beijing 2008 Olympic games. It was inspired by the Chinese old adage, which is ‘fitting between square and circle ducts.’ And this building is next to the Tian An Men Square.

The only time I get into there was in 2010, I was coming to there to watch a drama with my parents. The one point I like that is from this building is building materials. It was used steel and glasses, but they are special. They could help the whole building to keep the constant temperature. So the audiences could enjoy the drama in the very comfortable environment.

The Chinese National Stadium

It is significant for me, because I was living in Beijing 12 years; this stadium was the main stadium during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. And I also watched the final game of soccer at there.

Every Beijing citizen calls this stadium as “NiaoChao” AKA bird’s nest. It is because that its appearance as same as bird’s nest, and bird’s nest also represents green and nature. So we expected Beijing could be getting less and less pollution.
