This Luxor Theatre is located at Rotterdam in Netherlands and it was completed in 1996.  It is hard to say what it looks like.  The functions of this theatre includes studios, and offices. It is higher than normal theatre and reputed to be the most beautiful theatre in the Netherlands. The shapes and materials of Luxor Theater reflect a mixture of solid nautical history and an intimate and festive theatre atmosphere. I really want to see a movie inside of this building.

This Samsung Museum of Art was by three famous architect. They are Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel, and Rem Koolhaas.  Samsung Museum of Art has three buildings because of three architect and these three buildings can represent three meanings which are past, now, and future.  These three parts is kind of feature of museum. This museum attracts many people to visit per year.

This center is near by Beijing CCTV Building.  It was originally scheduled to be open in 2008 but unfortunately the fire accident  happened in 2009. Finally it was completed in 2012.  This building has 159-meter-high with about area of 110,000 square meters. It is used to be a theater and a hotel. It looks so cool and I really like it.

This CCTV Building was built in 2009 and finished in 2012. It is located in Beijing. It cost more than 5 billion RMB. Times named this building the world’s top ten architectural miracles in 2007. It looks like a pants when you look at it from outside. I am so curious about how it does not fall down. When people walk inside, they might be afraid of falling down. Anyway, I like this building. How great it is.

This library was opened in 2004 and located at Seattle. All this building was built by glass and steel. It has 362,987 square feet and it holds about 1.45 million books and other materials. It also includes over 400 computers open to the public. When I first saw this building, I even can not believe that this is a library. This building is so awesome and I think that people would like to read book in this library.

This building was designed in 2001 and locates at Portugal. Right now, this building has already been the most important representative. I really like this buildings because of its unique design. It is kind of hexagon appearance. It gives me a kind of feeling—technology. I really want to visit this building and attend one concert there if I have chance.

My last building is ring of life. It is located in Fushun city of China. Maybe no one is familiar with it except Chinese. However, It always triggers my illusion. Its diameter is more than 157 meters and it is a landmark for the local landscape. The total weight of steel structure is 3,500 tons. The whole structure of steel frame, and cover the metal curtain wall, installed 12,000 LED lights. Actually, this building is just a building. People can not live in there or work there. However, Chinese people like to go there and take picture with it.

As a Chinese citizen, I am so proud of Great Wall. It was built for military defense project. The Great Wall through in 15 provinces and its length is more than 21,000 kilometer. Everytime when I see it, I can not help with thinking how to build this huge project in the past. It was build on the mountain and whole of it with bricks. I can not imgage how many people worked so hard to build it.

Oscar Niemeyer Museum is located in Curitiba, Brazil. It is currently the largest museum in Latin America. I went there this summer. It’s hard to describe what it looks like but it is really unique for its appearance. It looks like sea-threaded. In this museum, there are many exhibitions which is so bold and ingenious.

Taj Mahal, one of India’s most well-known monuments, is the “World’s Seven Wonders of the World”. It is a huge white marble building and it is located in India. All bell tower, minarets, ponds, etc.,  are with pure white marble building, with glass, agate mosaic, with high artistic value. It’s maybe hard to keep clean and beauty because of white color. However, It’s really a brilliant building for me.
