From the moment I got into Houston for the final four games last spring I had the weirdest feeling about playing there. I had this sense of something bad. Walking up to the big gray metal building at first sight I didn’t like it at all honestly. There was nothing to it. Going in to the game watching it was tough, not only because of the score but it was so far away because of how small a basketball court is. Everything so far about this trip just wasn’t going as planned. We ended up getting embarrassed and coming home with a loss. This September OU had its first football game in Houston against the University of Houston and it was at the same stadium. So I ended up making a trip down there to give it another try. Well we ended up losing that one too so I will probably never go back to that stadium ever again. This building has influenced me in a negative way to say the least.
