Neyland Stadium

Located in Knoxville the stadium is home to the Tennessee Volunteers Football team. The capacity being 104,079 people its one of the largest college stadiums in the country. It is actually the fifth largest stadium in the United States.  I had the opportunity to visit this stadium last year when we beat Tennessee 31-24 in double overtime. A basic and simple design the colors of the walls and the orange really pop making it hard to forget who you’re playing that weekend. It has to be one of the loudest places to play. One end zone is on the edge of the Tennessee river giving fans a chance to look over the wall at the boats and city life that is going on during the game days. The stadium is named after General Robert Reese Neyland, an influential coach and leader for the Tennessee volunteers back in 1925.C1 C2 C3
