My next post isn’t necessarily a single building but two that mirror each other, The Plaza Towers.  Victory Park in Dallas is the main entrance to the American Airlines Center, on one side as many Dallas folks know, the popular news station has its office. What most people don’t know is that my uncle’s architecture firm is directly on the other side. Opening in 2007,  both buildings have all glass windows from floor to ceiling of each floor with TV’s on the outside usually showing what the news is filming. The buildings were built to refresh the outdated victory park and to bring more people to the area. When I first saw it it made me better appreciate the city I lived in. The modern design brought a new and fresh look to the brick walled American Airlines Center.
