This building was finished in 2008 by SOM Architecture in Irvine California. It was built with a rather different design, that being it has a large angled overhang loft. The center is made of glass and steel and allows in controlled amounts of natural light. Due to the buildings fast paced and fast work present there the structural design was made to compensate and function for everyday activities. The vast glass panels and high ceilings allow visuals to vehicles inside and out and transport of vehicles under the high canopy. The very modern look also is pleasant to the eye and helps things stay up to date with the ever expanding and innovating demand for vehicles. A year after it was built in 2009 this building was award the Outstanding Building of the Year award.
