The Dushanbe Tea House in Boulder has been one of my favorite places to go out to eat. The history behind the it is that Boulder is a sister city with Dushanbe and the entire building was made in Dushanbe and then brought over and reassembled. All of the wood columns are had built along with all of the painting being done by hand. When I was there the level of detail and beauty just made me step back and enjoy all of the work that was put into this building. The setting is very intimate and has areas where you can sit on cushions and eat just like overseas in certain countries. I remember thinking how much the building should be appreciated because of all the work and I really wished I could have stayed just to look at all the hand work.
