Seattle Space Needle

The Seattle Space Needle is an observation tower located in Seattle Washington. Built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 world fair and standing 605 ft high, this building continues to serve as a medium for people to admire the scenic beauty of the Seattle area. After a long and frustrating wait in line, I was unsure whether it was worth the effort until it was my turn to see the observation deck. In my experience, I have been to many cities and have looked out from several other observation towers but this is by far my favorite. I find it unique because not only was I able to admire the large structures in the city, but I was also able to see the vast forests and bodies of water that make the area so beautiful. The experience was eye opening because I was able to understand the impact structures like the space needle can have people and their families just as it did to mine. For me, as impressive as the architecture is, I believe the most impressive aspect of the Space Needle is what you see when looking out from the top.
